Hello all,

(ooh, it's been a while). I've had my lovely Revox B215 cassette deck sitting around doing nothing for too long and it could do with some tender love and care to get it fully working again. Does anyone have any recommendations for a trusted person to do the job in Gloucestershire? I'm near Stroud, so Gloucester and Cheltenham are close by. I'd also be happy to go to Bristol if there's a good person there. Thanks!

Peter

Or, suggestions for a trusted repairer in the UK would also be welcome :)

You could try these, they do Tandberg decks but might look at other brands.

I used to have a Revox B215; easily the best cassette deck I ever had, and one that definitely deserves to be brought back to full health. I had it serviced at F.W.O. Bauch, the official Revox service agent, in Borehamwood, Herts, but I believe they closed down in the 1990s.

You could try calling Vintagetech in Guildford, Surrey. Stephen Bennet, an electronics engineer, runs the company. His website is vintagetech.co.uk and his phone number is 01306 730453. From what I understand his main business is servicing vintage reel to reel tape recorders. I would imagine that he would be able to service a cassette player too.
