For sale, my superb reconditioned 1970’s JVC JA-S22 integrated amplifier in excellent condition.
This unit was purchased by me a year or two ago from Atherstone Audio who specialise in servicing and restoring vintage gear. Their motto is they restore vintage gear as close to modern standards as possible so it will give faithful service for another 50 years.
I originally purchased this when I was hoping to put together a retro system but I have since abandoned that idea, just too many other things on the go.
I have lightly used the amplifier via phono and aux with headphones. It sounds great, a sweet detailed yet powerful sound which I think was the JVC signature sound of the 1970s. Nice big illuminated VU meters. Some complimentary reviews here:

The unit is in excellent working and cosmetic condition. Please check out the photos, just some minor loss of lettering above the volume knob and the odd light mark.
Because I don’t want to risk sending this, collection is from Reading, RG6, or I could meet up within a reasonable distance for a contribution towards petrol.
Offered at a very reasonable £200.
