Amplifier repair Gloucestershire/Wiltshire or adjoining

Morning all
Apologies in advance because I’m sure this has been asked many times before. I know somewhere I’ve seen a summary of repair technicians up and down the UK - not sure if on AOS or another forum. I’ve had a look, but can’t find it.
Before I dash out and buy a 50 year old amp or receiver (not sure how sensible it is really, but I’d like something vintage in the 2nd system), I need to find someone, hopefully local, who can service it and replace all the bits that will undoubtedly need replacing given the age.
I’m in Gloucestershire, so anything around here or Wiltshire would be preferred. But if I have to travel a bit further, then so be it.
Any recommendations gratefully received.

Alan (Firebottle) would be my first choice for any amplifier repairs. Knows his stuff and a very nice man. Might even be worth speaking to him before buying anything.

Might be worth saying what kind of technology you are taking about - repairing a Japanese 70s receiver is a different thing to repairing a 60s valve amp (although many of the principles are the same).

Mend it Mark on You Tube (which is a great watch BTW) recently said most of his repairs tend to come out around the £200 level, so worth being realistic.

I’m looking at a solid state amp, most probably Pioneer/Sansui etc from the mid to late 70s.
Nothing purchased yet.
