A truly outstanding early pressing of the album everyone wants on vinyl, Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust”.
So often cited as a record played at vinyl enthusiast meetings owing to its superior sound quality, this original is in truly remarkable condition. In fact, it looks barely, if at all, played prior to my test play.
It test played with an effectively silent background, no surface noise of note, and superb sound quality. The vinyl surfaces look unmarked. It has been stored in a MoFi Original Master Sleeve in recent years.
Likewise, the delicate Robert Stace sleeve and picture/lyric inner are in superb condition. There’s just a very small split to base of the lyric inner sleeve, that’s the only imperfection.
The matrices are -6E/-4E which make it an early, but not very first (-1E/-1E) pressing.
Only selling as I have other copies, nowhere near as good as this one, but I’m quite happy with the ones I have. My days of wanting the perfect copy, like this, are over.
