Hello there.

I have 2 matched pairs of very hard to find MULLARD E88CC valves for sale. I bought them from CVC only a couple of months ago.

All valves are assured NOS gold pin valves. One pair is Millitary specs. (they are exactly the same valves, just one set is marked up for millitary use)

Each pair is matched and they even match as a quad.

They were used in a raysonic cd player so only signal use, nothing heavy and used lightly in the last month or so.

Assured never been used by CVC. I have the receipt and the test readouts. These are circa mid to late 60's.
All come in white boxes and packed very well.

I'm asking what I paid which is £199 with free postage to UK only. International postage will be extra.

Selling due to box swapping... sometimes refered to as 'Jerrys diesese' or 'Jerryitus' :lol:

Very relieved to hear that, because I was very tempted by your Raysonic with these valves. At least now I don't have to fight the voices anymore... :rolleyes:

the raysonic is still going to be moving on due to a new rack, need a front loader... just need to find what with...

Go for a Squeezebox Touch,you won't look back! Then perhaps see if Jon can still get you a AN Dac Zero,and put some nice coupling caps in it.Sounds very good to me for not a great deal of wonga.

yeah, I have actually been looking in to an SB. Do you have any more info regarding the better caps Ali?

Yes,stock it has some Wimas,which are ok but easily bettered IMO.I've got some AN Coppers in mine having swapped out the SCR teflons,which are now in the Beresford.Both are a major upgrade on the Wimas.
