I’ve bought them several years back as fully working, tested them out and found a tiny buzzing from one of the speakers when on higher volume, read online you can glue them wires down, I’ve bought a spray adhesive and some acetone to remove the old glue, cleaning off went fairly easy with first speaker and feeling encouraged by this I started to clean the second one with a little bit less patience, that’s when I noticed I must have broken one of the tiny wires, so I decided to refurb the speakers but on a different occasion, (you can simply rewire them using a repair kit available online, somoone suggested this could be soldered as well as the wire is at the very beginning of the panel), nevertheless they went to storage for a few years and forgotten to be honest as it was at time I replaced/tested speakers on a regular basis. I’m about to move house this year and simply cannot see myself doing the refurb anymore hence decision to sell. Previous owner wrapped fronts in veneer and this is overall in a good condition, 2 small places would need sticking down, 1 badge missing, not sure but I thing some components might have been upgraded?, I might be wrong though, check close-up pics.
So they are being sold as not working, for refurbishment and price reflect that. No covers or stands, misplaced them and cannot find now, might find when I move house.
