Pending emigration I need to thin out my collection.
I'm offering this PT1 for sale. No bearing noise - checked with strobe and was running to expected speed without variation.
It's overall in good cosmetic condition. Nice plinth.
Must be collected from Shrewsbury though I could convey it for petrol cost up to 50 miles to meet a buyer.

I was very happy with the PT1 finding it provided a big increase in SQ over the PT LPT I owned before it.
I went on to acquire a PT1 with the vector mods so this needs to go to a good home.
I see these decks sold for around £350 in the 80s!
See VinylEngine forum (Pink Triange/Funk Firm section) for lots of info and images on these excellent decks.
***No arm included. Choice of a couple of types of armboard included*****
£375 firm
We need more photos, and all of them should be posted here.
Please comply ASAP. I would move the one you have a link for, but I'm not going to go to the trouble of joining Apple iCloud just for one photo.
Thank you

In the spirit of showing warts and all - Couple of things hardly noticible
The lhs rear corner is solidly glued but the top of the profile could be pinched up and glued if desired.
It's difficult to see, but there is a tiny area of indentation at the bottom of the plinth toward the rear on lhs.
Overall considering it's probably at least 30 years old it's in very good shape.

If I was not saving for a big holiday next year I would snap this up, great TTs, put a good arm on it and enjoy!
If I was not living in France, I would also snap this up.

Funny - I need to thin down my collection because we are moving to France! What ever happened to OldPinkMan? He moved to France too but no posts since 2016 I think.

I use a Zeta on my PT1 with vector mods - not the one for sale. It's a wonderful combination.

OldPinkMan is alive and well. He hardly posts on HiFi forums these days.

Have a few different arm boards. One of the guys on the VinylEngine forum can make new boards using carbon fibre. Not sure which is which out of my collection. I've only ever used two arms on my PT1s
