Decent win today, next weekend might be a bit tougher
Another draw for Norwich, hardly an inspiring start to the season.
My wife and kids are Ipswich fans, so of course lots of gloating when they went up after a 22 year absence from the Premier League, two tough games to start their baptism of fire, maybe they can get something against Fulham next week.

Well that was surprising, never beaten a Swedish side, been playing shite but a 2-0 victory away from home should have 5-0 , maybe this will bring some belief and improvement

3rd win in a week, 3 points , second half really poor,

Another poor performance today, not a great time to be a Rangers supporter.

Not been posting much lately, mainly because we have been shite, but a 4-1 away from home in Europe is not bad many thanks to NIce for the poor defending

Good performance last night and deserved to win but will take the draw against an expensive Spurs team, a small matter of a cup final on Sunday to look forward to.

Best OLd Firm game for quite some time, pity it went to penalties, but after Thursday and yesterday things are looking a bit brighter , time will tell

Good start to the year, just when you think you cant be surprised, was expecting to lose today, will be meaningless if the team don’t win the next few games.
Norwich continue with their inconsistency, half way through the season and halfway in the table.
The household Ipswich fans aren’t gloating quite so much, although fair play to them for the Chelsea performance this week.

Interesting start by the interim management team, bit of fight which has been lacking time will tell

Well didn’t see that result coming today, not seen the goals or highlights yet as we are away on holiday.
Good result indeed, Robin!
I won't talk about my team... but I will give a shout out to my grandfather's team - and not just that he was a fan, he actually played for them around 100 years ago - well done to the Magpies for winning the English Football League Cup. :)
Sadly () I think Ipswich are all but done now after they lost again yesterday and Wolves won, so I will have the last laugh with the rest of the house barring a miracle. What is sad though is that it looks highly likely that the 3 teams that got promoted last year will go straight back down - the gulf between the Premiership and Championship is getting wider, it would seem.

Yeah good result yesterday, and still in Europe but the League is long gone still 13 points adrift.
Well, Ipswich got demoted, Norwich were crap again and sacked their manager again….
Europa League final is free on Discovery+ so going to watch that, hoping that Man U get spanked. Not that I particularly like Spurs, although I did support them as a kid *, but Man U have always been a very arrogant team so I would like to see them lose. One of these teams will just about save their season, the other will see a dismal end to a dismal campaign…
* My paternal grandmother and her family are all Hoddle - I was told that Glen Hoddle was my second cousin, and so naturally being an impressionable school boy wanted to support my relative and his team!
Fast forward about 30 years and my dad did our family tree on Ancestry or some such, turns out it was all bollocks and he isn’t a relative at all! With retrospect, I dodged a bullet with that one!

We have a new head coach , that’s a first, time will tell if Russell Martin is the answer, after last season which was so poor apart the run in Europe, we now have new owners and head coach lots of changes required, could be a long process,
Hmmmm... not sure he is, but good luck! We passed on him, even though an ex-Norwich player, not that that matters. Not sure if Liam Manning is the answer for us, either, but off the back of a poor season hopefully he can do what he did with Bristol City and get us into the playoffs at least.

To be honest Alex, after the shite of the last couple of seasons, things can only get better

My sentiments exactly! :)
