A wonderful early copy of Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here” on original vinyl for sale, please read the full description.
This copy is COMPLETE with the original black shrink-wrap, inner and postcard. The matrices are A-6/B-14 and “HTM” is etched in the dead wax indicating the record was cut/mastered by the legendary Harry Moss.
I have owned and still own several copies of this album and this is one of the best playing I have come across. The audio is superb and there is minimal surface noise. It has only been played on a handful of occasions.
There is one issue I need to point out and that is Side 1 has two overlaid labels and one of these is off centre – see photo. This was a relatively common fault at pressing plants and I have had a few records like it. Normally with play the stylus cuts a groove in the label but with this one for whatever reason the stylus can skate across the label if left. This can be negated by just lifting the stylus off when the last track, “Welcome To The Machine” ends – you have a good few seconds – but it’s something to be aware of. This issue is reflected in the price.
Priced at £50 firm plus £4.50 tracked postage. I use proper record mailers with reinforcements.
