I need someone to contact Meridian in Huntingdon

Hello Chaps,

I am trying to find a Meridian 551 MM card for my amplifier. When I try to contact Meridian it automatically switches to meridian USA. Those people do not have any idea about a ca. 1994 amplifier. Nevertheless, I think that Meridian UK may have a spare card.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

IIRC, the new owners of Meridian have followed the same crap approach to customer service as many others and will not deal with paying punters direct any more, so you have to go through an approved dealer. It is getting harder and harder to obtain straightforward things like firmware for products you already own. Why they imagine that giving dealers more upselling opportunities while holding your existing equipment hostage is a good strategy is beyond me.

Anyway, I’d suggest putting your query on the Meridian Unplugged website if you haven’t already. There’s a US-based dealer there (Bruce from CMB Integrations from memory) who is incredibly helpful and who might be able to assist. And the enthusiast community there might well be able to provide an independent solution to your query.
