Logic Datum Tonearm - Rewiring

Hello everyone, I have this Logic Datum arm which needs to be rewired. The wires run to a five pin plug in the base. Does anyone know how to remove this base?

If there are no obvious screw fixings, it is probably a friction fit. You might be unlucky and find it is glued in place.
