A KEF sub?

I think it may be for an active speaker equalizer, possibly for the 103/3

The Kube equalisers for the reference range are quite sought after by owners and have some value. They often don't come with the PSU and it therefore has value in itself.
According to the below thread this one was for the Kube 104/2. I actually had one without the PSU and sold it cheap as a result. Pity I didn't keep it until now.

To note it could also be for other Kubes I haven't found any other mention.
Also, just for interest, some Kubes were designed as part of the crossover and in theory are required to sound right (although many owners take them out and find the speakers are more transparent without and therefore leave them out but they not then performing as designed). Other models (including the 104/2) were just to equalise the sound, in particular to extend the bass.
Thanks for the information, well found :-)
I have just acquired some 103/3's I was going to try and sell the PSU but I may try and find a Kube without the PSU....

Hi,
I'm looking for an original PSU.
Do you sell it?
Regards Marcus
