Quad 12L2 speakers - cherry

I have finally found some space and money for floorstanders so am selling my mint Quad 12L2 bookshelf speakers, with the superb Quad cherry finish. I bought these about April 2009 from Audio Affair and still have the original packaging. For completeness sake I have to mention that a while back I accidentally broke 1 of the pins on the speaker grill, but have glued it back on and it is not noticeable - in fact, I couldn't find the glued pin when I looked for it now.

RRP £500, asking £350 + P&P. Or can be collected from SW London.

Yes, the Quad finish is 2nd to none, especially in that price range! I am very sorry to let them go, but don't have a 5 channel system and thus cannot justify to keep them. I extensively auditioned speakers in the £300-£800 range and these Quads kicked all of them, incl B&W 685, Monitor Audio GS10 (@£900) and others, apart from the B&W CM5 @ £800, but at the time couldn't justify spending that money on temp bookshelf speakers.

What a crying shame no one wants these. In my living room I have two 12L's, two 11L's and the 11c centre speaker in Maple finish. The wife loves to polish 'em.
