Rock 'n' roll legend Duane Eddy inspired a generation of guitarists with his unmistakable 'twangy' sound.
Self taught, his debut album, the purely instrumental "Have 'Twangy' Guitar Will Travel" reached number 5 in the US and number 6 in the UK.
Eddy's guitar style was echoed by the likes of the Beatles 'Day Tripper', Blondie's 'Atomic' and Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run' along with many others.
