For sale is my Schiit Freya Plus (current new price is £1100), which has had the V-Cap ODAM upgrade, these caps cost £350+

Price £800 + postage (UK Mainland only)

It is in perfect cosmetic condition and works as it should.
The Cap upgrade improves transparency and gives a smoother top end.
Original remote control is included and all the original packaging is present and will be used for postage.
As well as the cap upgrade, it has additional air vents added to top and bottom, plus taller feet fitted to allow better air circulation.
These mods reduce the top case temperature by approx. 10deg C and prolongs the life of the Caps and Transformers.
A set of four socket savers are included in the sale.
It comes with standard JJ's in the buffer stage and NOS Sylvania 6SN7 GTB Chrome top, in the gain section.
Blue film has been stuck over the LED's on the PCB, so the LED's now look pale Blue. (easily removed if you prefer White).

Wonderful job you've done on the Freya+. I checked out you blog too :)
I live in Gig Harbor WA, USA and would gladly buy this and pay whatever it costs to ship. Not possible I'm sure since you will have no trouble selling it in the UK mainland.
Cheers,
Jeff

I forgot about the voltage difference, your Freya+ is for 230 volts I assume so would not work for me in the US anyway. Again I just have to say how much I admire your work.

Hi Jeff
Yeh, mine is 230V version, I actually bought it from Schiit USA and had it shipped, as there was no stock in UK at the time.
Its a nice sounding Pre Amp, I prefer Tube mode, then jfet Buffer mode, the Passive mode just didn't do it for me.
I've moved on up the food chain, to a Pass Labs XP-12, another USA design. At about six times the price, its definitely better, but your talking 10% kind of better, if that.
The Freya Plus is a very good sounding Pre Amp, with loads of connectivity, even with the stock tubes it works well and is remarkably quite.
