room: about 18sq meters; 2,85m height, long but tight :-( I had a lot of troubles to properly set my spekers in it...

tis a nice looking amp..Any details?

I'ts a 40W push-pull amp on 6S33S-V tubes, works in pure class A, without negative feedback; it uses ECC82/12AU7 tubes as input section and russian 6N1P-EW in control stage. It has automatic regulated bias and 10-section toroidal output transformers.

I can see, that polish tube amp will make great career at this forum :lolsign:

You have done a great deal in such a small space,Is the room very long?
I know space is often the limiting factor in Eroupe,but I'm a little worried your crowding the Radiator.How hot dose it get? And can it melt your foam sound treatment?

thank You. it's an old Olympus SL-550SP with "zoom error". It's terrible to take a photos with it, almost always is out of focus. I must find another camera :-)

my flat isn't big, I had problem with a place for my stereo. and it was the best :) it's a big compromise - "listening space" is only 2,4m x 5,5m and 2,85m height. The radiator isn't hot enough to melt foam, cats are most dangerous... ;)

Yes, it's an Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman photo ;-) I like “youngtimers” very much, especially MB cars.
And short history about my old Mercedes :) A few years ago me and my wife we've had an 1978 W123 200D “nickel grün” with "tabak" interior. I haven't got a drivers license, but my wife has one, so she has been a driver. But unfortunately she didn't like this car, so it has been sold soon. Now we've got an small and boring Kia. And I can't find a reason to finish my driver's course... :lolsign:

And I'd like to make one thing clear - as I said, my flat is rather small and one room was divded on two smaller ones :) So, on this photo you can see a small part of radiator only - the rest of it is in bedroom, behind the wall on left side ;)

The radiator goes through the wall? Do you have any treatment on the sidewalls? The speakers are very close, so your bound to have comb filtering occurring.

yes, the radiator goes through the wall made with plasterboard panels. I don't have any treatments on the sidewalls. Speakers are close walls, but on both sides there are entrances - to bedroom and half-open kitchen, it makes a little more space for loudspeakers...

And here's a view at rear wall and listening place - there's one piece of foam over the painting :) and another - behind the sofa, sound's better with it. the cat sleeps at listener's place ;)

Yeah - one of my cats always used to sit in front of the speakers, dead centre for best stereo!

Small rooms can work very well - I wouldn't stress out about it.

Yup, good looking kit - so they do cool looking valve amps is Poland, too? Nice.

I do like the look of that Techie tt ... have you tried a damping mat rather than the inert rubber one? (sorbothane or a Herbie mat) - they can dampen the ringing of the fairly lightweight platter and have an excellent sonic improvement! :)

No, I didn't try any extra-mat for my Techie. The problem is, this TT has a diode indicators on the platter, becouse it's infrared disc selection system. So I need a mat with a holes for diodes, just like a orignally one.

That's interesting, i can't say i have seen anything like that record size selector previously :scratch: Frankly i'm having a little difficulty grasping how the heck they made that work, that's quite a few connections needed to a rotating platter. I'm guessing that they use some kind of magnetic coupling or some kind of 6 way (minimum) commutator would be needed..

You could always cut holes in a new mat to accomodate the sensors ;)
