Just remembered, my brother got us a soup maker. I'll have a go with it in the New year, but tbh we're not terribly excited about it. Not keen on things that require effort.

used to have one years ago. wasnt too much effort anhd it did a decent job but cleaning was a pain. somehow found using a pan more satisfying

I'll give it a go, but our real problem is lack of space - the kitchen worktops are already littered with gadgets. And if it has to go in a cupboard it'll probably be gone forever.

not up to unboxing it tbh... body isnt worky well, so not doing much.

13 cupboards in my kitchen even though it's not large. Most I hardly ever go in. One time looking for a guitar cable I found an amp, tuner and CD player in one of them. Must have been there a decade or more.
Guitar cable turned out to be in one of the drawers.

I gave the amp to my EE mate Carlos as he enjoys fixing stuff. It was an Eagle from about 1972. Now in full working order think one of his sons is using it.

beard oddly looks dark in pics but in real life its really all silver. i struggle to get arms up for any time so any reduction in shaving is a bonus. arthritis etc

I got what i thought was a Christmas card from my accountants, turned out to be a birthday card, also signed by all the staff. I told them earlier this year I will no longer need their services, but they clearly don't take no for an answer, and think I can easily be talked round.
Oh well i suppose I can stick with them one more year :)

Anytime you ask them why they are not delivering on their core responsibilities they plead poverty. But they have money to burn on pointless nonsense like leaflets.
Round here they even have their own billboards - free standing in the street, probably cost £50K each - telling you things like 'You can have your brown bin collected all year round if you bung us an extra £200'

I feel a bit sorry for the councillors of Szekesfehervar Hungary, who are twinned with Chorley. They must think we are taking the piss.
