View Full Version : Hi Everyone
Hi everyone, my name is Krzych and I'm form Poland :)
It's nice to find forum like this... I'm interested in tube amps, turntables and vintage tuners. I hope I'll find here people, who likes music and hi-fi equipment.

Hi,and welcome! Can you tell us a bit about your system and what kind of music you like?
yes, shure :)
my system is: Amplifon WT40-II - polish tube amp - with two pairs of 6C33C-B tubes in push-pull; Arcam CD23T (with dCS RingDAC on board); Technics SL-1600mkII, 30-years old turntable with original Technics EPC207 ED pickup and VSPS preamp for MM pickups; I've got a few tuners also - for now there are Yamaha T-2, Technics ST-9038 and Kenwood KT-990D. My speakers are JMLab Electra 905; wires - among others - Stereovox Vespa and DNM Reson LSC mkII in bi-wire and some DIY i.e. russian military silvered copper cable.
Music? I like evey kind of music, I have no prejudice, for me music is good and bad, I'm trying to listen only to the first one... :) But seriously - I like jazz, some rock music (i.e. progressive - Porcupine Tree etc.), classical and contemporary music (Polish composers - Szymanowski, Lutoslawski) and ambient, electro etc.
And sorry for my English. I know, it's not fluent, but I'm trying my best :-)

The amp sounds interesting, can we have a picture?
here You are.
Amplifon is a 40W push-pull amp, it uses 6C33C-B (6S33S-V) tubes in output stage, tubes ECC82/12AU7 are on input section of this amp (Tesla ECC802S are my favourite :-) ) russian military 6N1P-EW were used on control stage.
It works in pure class A (power consumption - about 450W ;-) and without negative feedback (but you can switch it 0/-6dB); Amplifon has automatic regulated bias and has toroidal output transformers with 10 sections.

Hi chris@panteg, thank You, I'm fine ;-) Can You speak Polish? :)
I have my SL-1600mk2 for about 2 months, I think it's a great turntable. Now I'd like to change a pickup for better MM system...
