Have you considered the KEF Corelli? I've used the 104 and 104ab and the Corelli is superior tonally and less coloured, you only sacrifice a fraction of bass extension.

Been there...done that...Correlli is good!!! but you'll be soon tired of the 104AB ...had 3 of them..and they had to go....get ur hands on a pair of Monitor Audio MA 4's MK2...will blow ur mind...heavily braced, designed by Martin Colloms..
