Wiim Amp - new one box streamer/amp

There's a new one box streamer/amp from Wiim. Could be a game changer in the market if their Pro streamer is anything to go by. And it looks very smart too. I assume it's class D given the size.

By all accounts it is a very good option for a reasonably priced streamer.

Anita's son and his missus were looking at getting a soundbar to make their telly sound better, but really this looks like what they really need. Connected to their AE Aegis floorstanders and my BK sub, that might be just the job. Ok it won't be surround sound, but that's not a deal breaker, unless they watch a lot of films with helicopters in them.

I'll be recommending this to them, thanks for the heads up.

Only the subgenre of films with helicopters that come up from behind you will be limited by this setup so I wouldn't worry too much.

And if I really wanted to hear helicopters coming up from behind I'd take up stealing cars... ;)
