The M8xi features a separate preamp with two monobloc power amps housed in a common chassis. Each power amp boasts its own heat sink and separate transformer, constituting a true dual mono design.
The preamp is equipped with its dedicated power supply and is strategically placed near the input sockets, ensuring exceptionally short PCB tracks. This clever design guarantees that both channel signals maintain ultra-low impedance from the moment they enter the amplifier—a crucial detail. With twelve substantial bipolar transistors per channel, delivering a peak-to-peak power of 200 amps, the M8xi stands out in performance.
