I have for sale is my Avalon Phono Stage MM/MC*(Solid State)

Designed and built in the UK by Angus (Phonomac) and Oliver (Bigbottle Audio)

There are Avalon Phonostages in Wolverhampton, Nantwich, Northampton and one in the south of England.

If anyone wants a demo, any of the guys would no doubt be happy to help.

Oliver (BigBottle Audio) has told me he is happy to host anyone who requires a listen to one. He is also co-owner of Avalon.

In excellent condition with only a couple of very small marks on the top edge and on the sides, I only noticed them when taking the photos. Internal jumpers allow settings of 100 in MC as well as 250 and 470. I think there's another one between 100 and 250 but not sure of the exact number.

Be patient it was like that with my IMFs (apart from a couple of sniffs) and then I got a quick local sale a few weeks later.

I also realise its a harder sell when it's a relatively unknown item other than on Olivers Forum

Difficult to appreciate how good this phono stage is as there's not a lot if info out the for it.

Here's my phono stage history as well as those I've tested..

Whest 2 (test)
Trigon Vanguard 2 (test)
NVA Phono 2 (owned)
Firebottle Vivant (owned)
Emotiva XPS1 (owned)
Trilogy 907 (owned)
BigBottle BB3 (owned)
Avalon (own)

I'd say the Avalon for me is the best of those with the BB3 a close 2nd.
