Skyq to TV to soundbar

Morning all, I've just hooked my new soundbar, denon dhts 517. Connections are hdmi from skyq to TV, arc from TV to soundbar, all good so far. Now to setting, skyq set to Dolby digital plus ,to take advantage of atmos content, if there is any? TV set to bypass, does this sound right? Ta

I'm sticking with the set up as per my first post Grant, setting tv to dolby digital plus throws up lip sync issues . At a guess the TV is processing the audio again before it gets to the soundbar. Anyway all done thanks. The voice enhancing mode is a delight for my slightly dodgy lugs

My TV has a delay function in the sound menu for when you fit an external speaker or processor it works a treat.

Yes there is,on TV and sky box, what a pain getting that right! Using a news channel , easy to see people speak I got it almost but not quite right,change channel and it's out of sync again, using bypass just works .needn't have bothered posting really:lol:
