Does anyone on here look at this site anymore? It used to be a good source of no-nonsense reviews with stuff at reasonable prices and they did a lot of DIY stuff too.

In the last 2 or 3 years it seems to have lost it's way. You are lucky if there is one review of a bit of kit.

You are right, I used to get good DIY and modification ideas there, but I've not used the site in years.

I was aware of the name TNT Audio, but never looked to see what it was about, Better late than never I suppose.

I'd just assumed it was some hifi dealership. I've just had an interesting hour or two going through the last couple of years' equipment/music reviews and opinions. Very interesting, and it will now be something I will regularly dip into. Providing it doesn't sink without trace...

Thanks for highlighting this Rob :)

Like you, I was aware of the forum but did not use it.

And like you I did go through the contents for the last couple of years; reading a couple of equipment reviews as well some "DIY" articles. The DIY articles were on the whole technically correct, but very subjective, whereas the equipment reviews were very wordy, went into the background of the designers and other personnel, but in the end were so general I learnt very little about the product.

From my point of view I see no reason to follow the forum.

Made up some of their DIY cable years ago, used the twisted twins for several years, good cable.

I made the three leg equipment rack, the Hydra power cables, and did a few of the upgrade/mods to CD players etc. It was a good source of ideas for a time, but I feel it has fallen behind.
