Hybrid integrated Amplifier

Original version

In fully working order and excellent cosmetic condition.

It’s bloody heavy!
Handmade in Italy
25wpc Class A magic

I’m not going to dribble on about how good this is when you have Google .

There is the odd mark but come on is it not just a work of art ( with function )

Comes with its original huge wooden shipping crate .
Original owners manual
2 tubes
power cable

Reason for selling? it’s just not practical for my use and it doesn’t fit in the space that I have .

you should keep that andy. pathos stuff is fantastic.... i'd have kept mine til i died if i was still using speakers. amazing clarity. this looks in great nick

Mate it is magical but it really needs a half hour warm up before it’s at its best and it gets hot so I can’t have it in our tv unit and looks alone don’t warrant me keeping it .
I know full well that I’ll regret it forever.

I forgot to add that I am the second owner and the original owner took this himself to Pathos in Vicenza to get it looked over and it had an upgraded preamp board fitted ( the original preamp board is included in the sale )

Why not use a cooling fan(s) or fans like those used in computers to help keep it cool? Not overly noisy and it's what I use to cool my EAR phono pre with.

It gets really hot so if using a fan I’d have to have the fan behind it meaning it would be blowing hot air towards me plus it wouldn’t be very effective with the transformers and chokes being at the back of the amp .

oft these amps are best used on cold days to heat room lol. fan at front is fine it just has to move a bit of air about

Use a Peltier cooler (or Twins..) on it Andy.

Sucks the heat right out (Not the science version of why it works) and totally silent.

The other option is I remove the bottom cover and place slimline silent fans beneath it ( directly under the transistors)

That sounds like a great idea, if possible. Aternativelty cut holes in the supporting shelf and mount the fans underneath :)

Noctua fans are the best.

Fan “technology” has moved on a bit now, and there are a few more viable options for quiet fans, that are not brown.

As said previously, I thought my Macintosh set up was it ! Now, a dedicated Pathos adversary.
It's taken 50 + years to find a system that I consider unbeatable. [emoji106] (within a said pricepoint).

great amps; i only sold mine as i was going all headphones due to neighbours and my mobility. it at least went to a very good home.:)

Yes I remember, you hadn’t had it very long either.
I had to sell the B&O m100’s due to the new neighbour complaining.
