Should my skyQ box be hot to the touch?

they do get fairly warm, but you should be able to keep your hand on it. they also can act as a hotspot for sky broadband too so are often active even when you think they are doing nowt. there is an eco mode setting you can use but it only kicks in in early am so probably not worth it, as it takes a while to come on again.

It should be fine, ours gets pretty warm. Prob best to have a bit of free space round it and not stack something else on top.

Hello Steve,it sits on top of my blu ray player with plenty of space around it, I was just a bit surprised it was hot to touch, I think my sky HD box had vents , not sure now. Wish we'd kept that, was nicer to use
