I’ve now found the belt which I thought I’d lost , it appears to be working fine on both speeds.
I haven’t tried it with a record as I’d rather not open the new stylus.

Was meaning from SQ point of view, plus not sure those new styli you can get are genuine Shure items, I don't think Shure have made them in 30 years.

Yes.

There should be designs on the net, there may even have been some here on the forum.

The stock arm is good, but armboards for alternatives are available. (I have a couple pf spare ones, SME fit and plain I think)

Agreed. It's a lot better than some would have you believe.

I wouldn't mess with it tbh. Keep it original.

It sounds very respectable actually, you could fool a lot of people in a blind listening test .
