Nuprime Omnia A300SE

A while back I attempted to sell my separates system with the aim of replacing it with this all in one amp/DAC/Streamer. The separates didn't sell so I'm sticking with them and selling this.
Full specs are here: https://nuprimeaudio.com/product/omnia-a300se/ but basically it provides 150w into 8 ohm, 200 watt into 4 ohm using Nurpime's own amazingly good Class D amplifier modules. I say amazingly good as I've owned other Class D amps using IcePower and Hypex modules and, in my opinion, Nuprime beats them all. My separates will still include a Nuprime power amp.

You can use it to stream all the usual suspects including Amazon Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Qobuz, QQ Music, Spotify, TIDAL, TuneIn, Napster, Ximalaya and also includes a pair of line inputs for your analogue device.

As can be seen from the photos it is in as new condition and functions perfectly. A new one will cost you just under £1500 so this is an absolute bargain at £600 delivered. You are of course more than welcome to come and audition and collect.

Comes complete with manual, remote and original packaging.

Note, at time of review the A300-SE didn't do gapless streaming but this is now fixed with a firmware update.
The Omnia app is easy to use and stable making this a great amp for a main system or, if you are flush, just add speakers for a compact and excellent second system.

I've seen and heard this in use at Ian's, a very capable piece of kit with a lovely tone driving his Jordan speakers. You can't go wrong at this price.

I'm a little surprise that this hasn't gone. Maybe because it's not a well known brand. Nuprime came out of Nuforce, one of the pioneers of Class D technology. Maybe Class D puts people off but it shouldn't. The sound is smooth, powerful and detailed with great imaging. You can even tailor the sound to your own liking. To quote Nuprime:

NuPrime proprietary EQ settings allow the users to customize their listening experience according to music preferences and audio equipment matching. Loudness 1,2 & 3 settings came from the R&D effort of the AMG series. Despite its name, Loudness settings create a presence of warmth and impact for the listener instead of louder sound.
Repeatedly pressing the Loudness button will cycle through the following EQ settings:
Flat, Loudness 1, Loudness 2, Loudness 3, Rock, Jazz, Pop, Classic

Also worth noting is that this very effiecient amp is a lot kinder to the planet than valves or Class AB :)
