Hi All

Got this HP400 during a house clear this week can't find much info online presuming pro , studio use the earth link is odd :scratch::scratch: but was PAT tested in 2019 looks like a mosfet design

The earth link connector is odd what is this for does this need to be used or can be earthed from within the mains lead?

At a guess it's for solving ground loop problems in the studio but I don't really know. Mains outlet looks like it is three prong.

Yep plenty of racks around :)

helped clear an estate of a sisters deceased brother he had a load of gear from Mixers , Pa kit , lights and more and vinyl

performing very well on the Teac's that's just testing all so far bar one had been 100% working order - stripped a pair of 15's as mid flare was blown astonishingly heavy non matching drivers all had to be scrapped

Yes, it gives you the option to connect the 0V rail to the mains earth. Most professional equipment has this facility.

Third Generation HP400 driving the Tannoy Chesters very well indeed again will need to go in for a look over service and bias check 17.2 KG those sinks :)
