hi all just saying hello my names keith and im from grimsby n.e. lincs im a single dad with two little people and im in need of some welcome advise ive been useing a beresford tc7520 dac for about a year and have only made a few mods to it. At the mo im useing a ad826anz (s) cl5/cl6 clipped and a lm4562na (h) but was wondering if any one has tryed the LME49720HA and could give me some idea of how they sound.The lm4562na sounds great but i thought the highs could get a bit thin and the bass was weak when useing in the speaker output so i put in the ad826anz and hay presto music to my ears.So would it be worth trying the LME49720HA oh and i also had a 2132 but it sounded dull in the highs any way any help is wecolme regards keith.

There's almost always someone who can help with any problems that're thrown into the ring here & if not, there's always a helpful suggestion.
The best way to introduce yourself to the community is to stick some basic details about yourself, your system and the type of music you like to listen to in this area & then select the best part of the forum to pose your question in. You'll have seen the list of sections (http://theartofsound.net/forum/index.php) on your way in, I'm sure.

We also tend to be enlivened by photos of other people's gear, so when you have time, you could stick some of those in the Gallery. Don't worry about what your system consists of, people here are very rarely disparaging of other members hi-fi, no matter how humble or ostentatious it may be.

If you can sort yourself out with a signature that shows your first name is Keith, then that would be great too.

If you could give us a clue about your equipment and upgrades rather than just numbers ( for caps i presume) perhaps it would make more sense to us here, we are all aware of Stan dacs but a little clarification to would be nice :)

hi guys thanks for the warm welcome the changes are op amps which just simply plug in and out and can give you a very different sound and the cl5/cl6 are resistors which can be removed to open up the the sound recomended with the lm4562na op amp by stan hope this helps im no tech head and im only following what stan said to me after a chat on the phone. my system is very modest nad c326bee amp/monitor audio br2 speakers/beresford tc7520 dac but ive owned a few cd players in the last ten years, arcam cd72 which was by far the best ive had but the beresford is as good if not better when you get the mods right for your own system and ears.

Grimsby eh? I was raised just outside York, just outside the East Riding of Yorkshire and just inside the North Riding of Yorkshire. The buses to Hull used to pass by the top of our road. Ones with pointed tops to go through the Beverly Bar.

Afraid I can't help you with your problem Keith - it's all alphabety sphagetti gobbledegook to me, but rest assured we have several members who know all about this sort of thing and will, I am sure, be able to help you.

(That is of course once you have satisfied the requirements of AoS immigration! :))

Yep i live in grimsby Labarum, it is as bad as every one says it is full of chavs,junkies and ladys of the night. Im sorry i carnt remember the strange looking buses probably before my time.My little ones katie 8 n edward 5,not be long before they are bigger than me im a short arse lol.
