Flat speaker cables

Is it safe to use flat speaker cables ( Townshend Isolda ) with my Croft integrated ( hybrid) ?
I’m asking as after buying some I’ve since read that some amplifiers don’t like them , it also say not to use such cables in the owners manual of my Myst amp , something to do with capacitance and resistance which I don’t really understand.
I absolutely love the Croft so I don’t want to put it at risk for the sake of “ better cables “

you would need to know what capacitence they are compared to what your using. a multimeter with a cap setting will tell you
