In good condition for age, very slight discolouration from use on the top at c. 2 o’clock. I am the original owner and have not used it for >20 years since I ceased commuting by train. It sounds very good with my AKG K550 Ref headphones. It plays original CDs and CDRs – which is what’s shown playing in the photo.
Has two EQ settings, ‘S-XBS’ Bass Boost and ‘Live’ as well as an Anti-Shock read-ahead 2(?) second cache. It holds 2 AAA rechargeable batteries which are recharged, IIRC, when plugged in to the PSU. It also has a line-level output so ideal for a portable Hi-Fi set up or even connected to my QED MB45 Headphone amplifier (also for sale).
Supplied with the original heavy wall wart PSU and a non-original carry case.
I will include the original twin AA battery screw-on powerpack. Although this needs cleaning following a battery leak nothing looks terminally corroded.
£30 collected (TN11) + P&P (signed-for service of your choice at cost - but not ParcelForce!)
