Does anybody manufacture a good quality male IEC connector?
I want to make a decent lead to go from my AG1500 to my power block, so it needs to be IEC male to female.

I was after a high quality copper contact version (rubbed on the inner thighs of virgins).

Silver plated copper contacts. £6.00 + VAT (the use of virgins in the production run cost more - a lot more!)

Considerably more expensive, but that may be due to the employment of virgins in their manufacture (hence the reference to "pure").

That was the kind of thing I was looking for, but I think the only options really are the Kaiser or Schurter.

What you are looking for is a bit scarce. I am busy experimenting with cables and have found sonarquest silver over copper to be very good and not just for their price. I have tried about 8 different brands and 3 versions of sonarquest female IEC. Go silver for sure.

Perhaps contact these guys and ask for a male version Ag plated Cu.

I also have a missing-link IEC but no comparison done yet. UK based so might get lucky there.

The male IEC was needed as part of my “buzz busting” search.
Fortunately, I have found the source and the male IEC is no longer needed.
