I was so impressed with the E-480 that I made the mistake of trying the E-800. For my listening habits and speakers (Tannoy MG12s), the E-800 is a step up, but if you listen loud or have less sensitive speakers, the E-480 would probably be a better choice, as it gives a guaranteed 180W/8ohm against the E-800's 50W in Class A.

Like all it's brethren, the E-480 has the legendary Accuphase build quality and array of features, and of course the sound quality to match.
They cost £8000, but I bought it in October from Doug Brady at an ex-dem price, but it is in perfect condition apart from a very small mark on the left side. It is not very noticeable to the eye, but of course the camera exaggerates it. Any other marks are dust or reflections.
There is a 3 year manufacturer's transferable warranty on it, dated from October 2022.
It comes with the remote, mains cables, instructions and all the original packing.
I am asking £5500 plus postage at cost. Or local pick up, or I can deliver within a reasonable distance. I am in Plymouth, Devon.
Sorry about the photo quality, but my phone camera and low light don't help. I would retake the rear photo but it is all packed up and it's heavy!

That isn't a dent, it's the reflection from the cardboard.

I think the shop tried touching it up, but didn't do a brilliant job.
