View Full Version : Rotel RA313 - am I just remembering something that was never there?

My first ever amp was a Rotel RA-313. My memory tells me it was a beast and I've regretted selling it ever since my (now long-deceased) uncle took it off my hands.

I've been musing a for a while now about getting another one and dicking about with some kind of amp splitting gizmo to allow me to switch between my Marantz and aforesaid Rotel.

However, before I go through the inevitable hassles that the above would entail, does anyone here currently own and use the 313 who could vouch for the quality my memory insists is genuine?

I don't see how you can go wrong getting another Phil, your recollection of how good it was is probably right as I've never heard a Rotel amp I didn't like.

(I was very fond of my RA-611 :))

I loved the 313, Geoff. Had it powering a pair of Wharfdale E-70s (also now residing elsewhere in the kingdom).

If I can work out where I’d site it - while st the same time maintaining WAF equilibrium - I might well just go for it.
