Sugden AU41 Pre and Power amp

Does anyone on this forum have or had a Sugden AU41 Pre and Power amp combination?

Any info regarding performance and sound will be greatly appreciated.

A great British hi-fi company started in 1967 and still based in Heckmondwike West Yorkshire.

Not familiar with AU41 but I have heard many of their amps over the years and if there's a house sound it is detailed vocals and soundstage but perhaps a little lacking in the low end slam and attack of the best, however, as with everything its horses for courses, so if you hanker after a more valve like presentation but without the glowing tubes then Sugden should fit the bill perfectly, especially if bass driven music is not your thing. They have a reputation for excellent build quality and the use of high quality components so they are certainly worthy of serious consideration.
