A beautiful pair of transparent smallish speakers...to be driven by a Rega Ellicit R. Thinking proacs, falcons or similar...or even a nice pair of Royds!

Thinking outside the box, what about a pair of vintage KEF Corellis? They're compact and major on transparency. I have two pairs used in parallel and they sound superb. There's a nice pair about an hour from you in Coventry. They're a bit special :).
