I've had these a few months, big itch to scratch. They're brilliant, just brilliant and look great too.
They do prefer to play louder than i generally listen to to be at their best..I've been a valve amp and efficient speakers sorta listener for a long time and that type of set up generally sounds great at low volumes which is 90% of my listening. I've enjoyed the rediculously unburstable power of the Arcs and their scale immensely though. Great fun.
Anyway...
Mk1 finished in walnut in great nick, nice tidy grilles that fit snugly and all drivers and are in exc condition. I bought these from John at Midland Audio Exchange in October. MAX are a Shahinian dealer and supplied these to the original owner. They have their original boxes and theyre sturdy but i dont want to post them.It's pretty clear they have been well loved snd I'd like to keep them this way. I've been using them with a rega Elicit R which drives them with ease.
I'm on no rush, but thought I'd see if anyone fancies a swap/ px deal against some nice stand mounts. Nice proacs or Falcons, chartwells etc.
