ARD 2000 amplifier

There is an ARD 2000 amplifier for sale on eBay at the moment.

I always thought the visual design was sophisticated and elegant: from the 'peek-a- boo' knobs, reminiscent of those on the Quad 33 preamp, to the use of symbolic labelling of the controls.

I have no idea if it sounded very good or not - I just liked the look of it. If it was in better cosmetic condition I would buy it.

I remember those and have a feeling one passed through my hands about forty years ago. I think there was a larger model too if I recall.
