Now I’m wanting more power for my speakers I’m considering selling these on the devilbay, ( or elsewhere) I do like to keep Hifi between us members but because I won them for so very little I don’t think that selling them on here would be a viable option ( proven with my Vpi turntable)
Could anyone advise on a start price please?

I believe they’re 100w ( despite someone calculating them at 200w )

They work flawlessly and sound very good to my ears .

I hope I’m not overstepping the mark with this question mods ?

Well the simple answer is, what anyone's prepared to pay. Very tough to answer this one. I suppose if you get 1 quid more than you paid them your on a winner.

being homemade their value usually drops considerably, especially if there is no provinance,

tbh i think ebay is best bet, but by all means put a guessimate on them and try here.. might fly. cant see anyone paying what they would be worth if made by a hifi company but plenty guys like these things.

I agree about the homemade comment mate , sad really when you consider the quality of components etc in homemade gear given no accountant restrictions etc .

I suppose you could add up the value of the components used to make the amps and then maybe reduce the value by a percentage that you thinks fair? They other thing to consider is them not having a history of being checked over by a qualified tech (please accept my apologies if this is not the case).

Well I ( not a qualified tech ) replaced the caps on the board , tested the big Philips caps ( unconnected) for tolerances but then I’ve never had any amp or otherwise checked by a tech before selling them.

Well I dont sell amps on the net and I'd not buy one without a full inspection, but then that's just me. I do like the looks of your amps, very laboratory, GLWTS.

I'd have a look at the current price of fleabay kits and then add a bit since they are built and working keeping in mind what a similar bought set with similar performance would cost.
