For sale my Clearaudio Performance SE turntable. In truth I'm hardly using vinyl these days and I have a restoration project (a Goldring 88) which I really ought to finish. The Clearaudio is in superb condition, I can't find any marks on it, and works flawlessly. It has one or two interesting features like the aluminium/high density fibreboard sandwich for the plinth and the floating magnetic bearing. Combined, these features, along with the outboard motor and thick acrylic platter result in a stable and silent vinyl spinner which sounds excellent. It's also, to my eyes, a thing of beauty.

It comes with a box of accessories including protactor, spirit level, a spare belt and arm adjustment tools. Also included is the original manual and packaging so it can be posted although you are more than welcome to collect or discuss delivery if you are not too far from me.

The tonearm is the carbon fibre version of the Clearaudio Satisfy which can still be had new for nearly £1600. That makes this something of a bargain at £900 + delivery.

I've decided I'm being stupid getting rid of this lovely deck so I'm withdrawing it from sale.

All is still true except the restoration project may take a little longer :)

I've recently bought a fantastic NuPrime power amp which is being fronted by my Auralic Altair DAC/streamer/pre. Unfortunately this only has digital inputs so I'd like to get the matching NuPrime pre to add extra flexibility and it isn't cheap

So this lovely turntable is back up for sale. Looking back through this thread I didn't mention that included is a very low mileage Audio-Technica AT-VM95SH Dual Moving Magnet Cartridge with Shibata Nude Stylus (£165 new). If you're interested in the turntable without the cartridge the price drops to £775 plus delivery.

Cheers.
