Relucantly advertising these prized "end game" speakers. It's highly unlikely that I'll find another pair in this country, however they are not getting the use they deserve at the moment... Pragmatically, it makes sense for someone else to enjoy them.

All in full working order and excellent condition. Be assured, myself and previous owners have taken very good care of them - the only mark you'll find is on one of the black plinths (see below). They are finished beautifully in premium birds eye maple veneer which added considerably to the cost when new.

Being a sealed cab design (a rare thing for Dynaudio) they are far more tolerant of room positioning and dimensions than similar sized bass relex models. There is a 17cm internal woofer in addition to the 20cm external woofer. The bass they produce goes down to 47Hz although it doesn't resonate like a rear ported design. With bass reflex a low frequency will typically swell and "ooomph" around the room but with compound bass principle it's instead presented with a quicker more tuneful / "in time" character. Less impact, but more transient. They are a highly revealing set speakers featuring state of the art ESOTAR T330D silk dome tweeter & M560D soft dome midrange drivers.

Often regarded as one of the best models that Dynaudio have ever produced, it's been said that you'd need to look at the Temptation and Master series to improve upon them. Do your research online and you'll find nothing but praise. Don't be put off by early adopter's preoccupation with huge power amplifiers - with modern class D designs you don't need to go looking for a back breaking Krell! I've had excellent results with both Hypex NC500 mono blocks and older TacT/Lyngdorf integrated.

Original shipping crates will be included however sale is strictly pick up only from South Wales (near Newport). You'll need a fairly large vehicle to transport plus a willing pair of hands to help lift and box them. The cartons are 1215 x 485 x 305 each and weigh 43kg once speaker is packed.

RRP was £12,000, asking £3,300.

Not exactly pocket money, but a relative bargain considering inflation rise since production - the "Confidence 50" current equavilent will set you back £23,000...

Please read the photo requirements carefully Dawson. The images need to display at a minimum of 640 x 480 and a view of the terminals must be shown. Thanks.

The images are linked Geoff, if you click one it will take you to a high resolution version on postimg.cc

When you say a "view of the terminals must be shown", do you want a rear shot of the speakers showing the wiring posts?

Cheers both. I'm away for a few days so won't be able to get another photo up until the weekend at least. If that's an issue, feel free to delete the thread and I'll post up again next week with everything in order.

If I was in the market for a pair of speakers I'd be very tempted by these, have read good things about the range.
