Pioneer A300R Precision Amplifier

I have had this a few months, was going to be used in a second system but i have a change of plans.
In good condition, some light marks here and there but nothing major, the precision badge was worn so i have taken it back to bare metal.
Comes with power cable and remote control but not original box. Looking for £200 plus post

If someone snaps this up and then sends it off to Tom Evans for a "full monty" upgrade they will get an absolutely stunning amp. I did this and was blown away by the result. In many ways I prefer it to my Croft 25RSLS/7 monoblock amp.

There are 2 stages to the upgrade.
Stage 1 is the traditional full monty which strips out the phono stage section, reworks a lot of the circuits and upgrades the socket RCA's. This was around £800. You can tell if this upgrade has been done as Tom changes the power LED from red to blue.

Stage 2 is Stage 1 plus replacing the speaker sockets with pure copper binding posts - these were £50 a pop.

OK so not cheap but you end up with a truly stunning amp. Incredibly musical and precise.
