My name is Tom. I am currently residing in Perth, Western Australia. My current sound system is a MacBook Pro as server and source, Sennheiser headphones (HD 515), and a mini-hifi system from LG. All far from high end or reference. :) For the connection from my MacBook to the hifi or headphones I am using the DAC/Headphones amplifier Total Bithead by HeadRoom. At the moment I try to figure out which output from my computer sounds better via the Total Bithead: headphones or USB. I am still not sure. See under 'Hifi Studio and Trade', 'Digital Expressions', 'Poor sound from Macbook Pro...'
