NA Ace Space Arm 12"

Hello all,
I need some help.
A week ago, I wanted to listen to a vinyl and I noted that the arm was not in the right position.
The arm, in its rest position, was lower than the turntable platter.
I think that the part circled in red in the picture below, don't move to the full range of his possibility..

Can anyone suggest me how to fix it ?
I have the manual instructions but they don't mention how to set up this part (the lift).

i take it the platter is in right position, and not sitting high?. arm kinda looks ok, as i think the raised bit is at other side, but i dont really know enough on na's to suggest much else...

Sorry, I forgot to add that that picture was one I searched in internet to show which part I was referring.

Here is the temporarily "solution" I used, until I find how I can fix it for good.
I added a little strip of felt to the base of the lift, otherwise the arm would have been too low.
Platter is in the correct position, never touched in quite some time.

a lot of these lifts have oil in them for lifting dropping i think. so maybe a seal has gone. just a guess that its dropping too low due to lack of resistence down below. maybe send it back to na for repair

This is what I also believe.
The problem is that I have not found any documentation about this specific piece of the arm.
I have the instructions manual of the arm, but there is no mention about this topic.

Maybe someone who has experience on this arm could give me some help ?

if the arm is too low for the turntable platter you will need to adjust the vertical tracking alignment. You can do this by loosening the locking grub screw in the lower collar circumference with an allen key, then turning the VTA screw (the vertical threaded support with the nylon washer at its base) clockwise until at the arm is the correct height. Gently re-tighten the grub screw in the collar again when done.
