I've had heat on for a couple of weeks but only heat one room with a 750 watt convection heater. You can set it to 2.5KW max but it would be cheaper to burn banknotes to keep warm.

Got a sweatshirt and a fleece on, temp in room is 19.3C, reasonably comfortable, although I've found 22C to be my sweet spot there's no chance of getting up to that in this old house at this time of year without cranking up the heater some more.

nearing 22 indoors today. heating has been more costly already. may have to turn it down half a degree. car fully charged last night so good for a while. says 324 miles available.

Not going to happen I'm afraid. I'm currently getting one hour of warmth per day - 30 mins each way in my van. Smart meter only showing £3.16 right now, so we've decided to treat ourselves to one hour of heating. I think some of it is due to not having a working kitchen, had takeaways the last 2 days.

Nowhere near! I knew they wouldn't get it done in a week.

The kitchen came from B&Q (not our choice), and service is a bag o' shite. Lots of bits missing, and missing bits not in stock locally. So now work won't resume till end of next week as the fitter has another kitchen booked in starting Monday. Kitchen is sort of functioning (sink, washing machine, fridge, cooker), but nowhere to house all our kitchen crap.

So the journey from my sofa to my records/CDs is a right obstacle course. And I don't think piles of plates and pans make good room treatments.

its been a few degrees colder today, and for forseeable i think. had to go out to pick up shopping; the colder weather has already started taking its toll a bit out of battery use;; not disasterous but you do notice a fair difference. pre conditioning the cabin when not plugged in fairly takes its toll too.
