Hi. My first name is Mac. My current system consists of Classe,B&W,Luminous Audio,MIT,Definitive Technology,Bello. I am always changing out components in the quest for better sound. I am at a point now where I am pretty happy. My musical tastes are very wide open.......my mood usually dictates what I listen to, or if my wife or children want to listen then I put on what they request.

Excuse my ignorance, but I presume that "Richmond Va" is somewhere in the States?

Bear in mind this is a UK-based forum, and some of us dafties have very little knowledge of US geography! ;)

Sorry for the confusion. Yes I am from the States. I am on the East coast where the hurricane is coming right now. I was in the Outer Banks last week for vacation and this week they are evacuating due to the storm. What a week makes.

I joined this forum to gain some knowledge from this side of the pond. I am still in the beginning stages of my audio journey and I tend to like the 'warmer' side of neutral when it comes to how I prefer my sound. I have heard uber detailed systems but I cannot listen to them for more than 30 minutes at a time. I get listener fatigue. I tend to like a sweet mix of both for extended listening. Right now I am just trying to gain more knowldege and broaden my horizons in the realm of all things audio. I know American and Canadian products very well but not so much on British hifi. Here to get my learn on.

It appears my front end is mostly American & Canadian :eyebrows: Not many English components in my system so you won't learn a lot from me ;)

Trust me, you don't! (A toddler that insists on waking up every hour of the night and then getting up at 4.45am! :eek:)

Sorry Mac - at least I got the middle letter right, and as Meat Loaf didn't sing, one out of three ain't bad... :)
