Joe Henry built class A clone which I bought just a few weeks ago on here ( plenty of info on here )
The ONLY reason I’m selling is because I’ve had a result on a pair of monoblocks.

There is a little ding on the rear right cooling fin .

Price is what I paid £650 , collection only from Milton Keynes for established members .

I may consider a swap for a quality preamp but it must have a remote control.

Here's the internals. You won't find many components laid out like this; work of art...

Lovely.
Tempted...but...
Just exactly how would i hide it from the other half?
Quite often i can buy gear and she won't even notice for months.
But i measured this out.
Can an amp actually get any bigger?

You're very welcome good sir. :D

You could tell her that it emits a frequency which is proven to make skin look younger and more vibrant.

It is about the same size as one of my Levinson ML-2 monoblocks.

But yes, there are much bigger amplifiers than the Aleph clone - Colin Wonfor's TOCA monoblock for example:

I saw these at an audio show at Heathrow many years ago. From their size, and at a distance, I thought they were speakers, but was puzzled by the granite fascias! Only by looking round the back and seeing the full height heatsinks and cable connections did I realise they were single channel amplifiers.

I believe the amps were an exercise in seeing how much Class A audio power could be wrought from a 13A mains supply.
