This is an amazing amplifier for the money you get 100wpc, WiFi, Bluetooth or ethernet streaming, including the main companies as well as local files on a NAS, DAB and internet radio, direct playing of files from your phone or tablet and control with the MusicCast app (Apple or Android). Also comes with a remote for more traditional control.

It sounds really good as you'd expect from Yamaha. I have been using it as a streamer only as I've got an amp that cost several thousand new, so as you'd expect, it outperformed the Yammy! So it seems a waste to keep it just as a streamer good as it is.

£195 seems like a fair price. You could think of it as just a streamer with a free 100wpc amp and it's still great value.

Forgot to add it's got digital in and a built in DAC for a CD player etc. No USB needed as it's a network amp and streamer.

I heard one of these in a friends, I'm pretty sure it's the same model and I was really impressed with the sounds it was making. As Lawrence said, a streamer, da c and 100 watts per channel. It would make a fan 2nd system.

Thanks Vince yes I was going to use it in a second system in the loft (well third technically) with access to all the music on my Zen in the main system but my plans have changed.

It's a really good piece of kit, the wireless options have changed the way I play my music completely.
