As per posting I am looking for a pair of Spendor Classic 1/2 or very similar (e.g. Spendor SP1/2R). At the moment I have a pair of Spendor Classic 100 and these are by far and away the best speakers I have heard at home. However, they are so heavy that moving them around is becoming (at my age) really difficult so a downgrade to smaller Spendors would probably suit me better. A p/ex might be a possibility if anyone wants to upgrade but I would also be happy to purchase the right pair outright - probably needless to say that they would need to be in excellent condition - my Classic 100s are in absolutely mint condition and with stands (non Spendor) and full packaging (roughly 2 years old).
